Greetings on behalf of all the team members of our esteemed Tanishq College of Nursing, Nagpur.

I love to work in public health because I found it to be dynamic and diverse. It allows individual nursing practice to impact our whole community and challenges us to confront the complex issues we face. As Nursing, is love in action and there is no finer manifestation of it than the care of sick and disabled in their own houses. The strength of the nursing profession is its unwavering focus on health and social development specifically on the development of the marginalised communities- be it the minority communities, women, children, vulnerable and, elderly, persons with disability, persons affected by disease, which are stigmatized in community, or those affected by disaster. Specially during this pandemic situation, Institute, stretched its arm wide to serve the community at large.

The mission of our college has a strong focus on social development of many excluded communities. Fieldwork and clinical exposure which is the signature pedagogy of this course provides a scope to the students to integrate theory with practice thus ensuring the transfer of class room knowledge into practice.

The journey ahead will undoubtedly be filled with challenges and triumphs. As nurses, we will be the guardians of health, advocates for patients' rights, and beacons of empathy in the face of adversity. Always remember that the impact you make on a person's life, no matter how big or small, can resonate for a lifetime.
